Quetta Gladiators vs Karachi Kings Form

The Quetta Gladiators arrive for the new season hoping to go one better than they did last year after they were left floored in the 2025 PSL final.

The Karachi Kings were beaten by five runs in their last clash with the Gladiators as they failed to build on two previous wins over their opponents.

The Gladiators have won six of their last 10 matches against the Kings, with the latter securing four victories in this time.

The Quetta Gladiators were excellent across the regular season in 2025, securing seven wins in 10 outings and finishing at the top of the standings.

While they went into the playoffs confident, they could not come through on topping the table as they were beaten by the Lahore Qalandars in the final. Despite posting a daunting 201/9, they saw their hopes of securing the trophy come down to the penultimate ball as the Qalandars notched a stunning six-wicket win.

Now, the Gladiators will be desperate to put the demons of their grand final defeat behind them by securing a win in their opener. The Kings will be no pushovers, but I back the Gladiators to secure the points.

Karachi Kings Form

The Karachi Kings have the chance to bounce back from their stunning six-wicket loss to the Lahore Qalandars in their last outing as they were knocked out of the competition in the first Eliminator.

After securing six wins across the regular season, the Kings looked in good touch to challenge in the playoffs. However, they were not able to get past the first round of the post-season as their competitive score of 190/8 was chased down with ease.

In their opening match of 2026, the Kings will look to start strongly with bat and ball. However, they will come up against a Gladiators side that will be desperate to hit the ground running, and I back the Kings to feel the full force of last season’s runners-up in their opener.
