2026 Pakistan Super League Format & Schedule

The 2026 Pakistan Super League (PSL) will bring together the six teams that everyone knows and loves along with two new sides as the competition expands to eight teams.

With the likes Haris Rauf, Shaheen Shah Afridi, Babar Azam and Mohammad Rizwan appearing alongside big names including Steve Smith, David Warner, Glenn Maxwell and Moeen Ali, the 2026 PSL promises to be the best yet.

2026 PSL Format

With the expansion to eight teams, the PSL’s format will be revised to include a total of 44 matches with each of the eight sides playing the other seven teams twice as teams battle for points to secure one of the top spots.

The top four sides in the overall standings will move into the playoffs. The playoffs will see the top two sides battle in the Qualifier, with the winner of this game heading straight into the grand final. The loser faces the winner of Eliminator 1, which sees third and fourth battling. Eliminator 2 will give the last two teams a chance to make the final to battle for silverware.
