Pakistan Women are looking to double down on their 3-0 ODI series win over Zimbabwe Women with another series triumph in the shortest format.

Zimbabwe Women have not been able to get anywhere near Pakistan Women, with the former struggling to get going with bat and ball.

Pakistan Women arrive for their T20 series against Zimbabwe on the back of an impressive four-game winning run across formats that includes a 3-0 win over their next opponents and a 119-run ODI win over South Africa back in March.

However, in the T20 game, Pakistan have won one of their last three, while they have just three wins over their last 10 outings. The shortest format has clearly not been their friend of late, with the nation winning their last four in the ODI game.

The onus must be on building a well-rounded T20 team to complement their ODI side. The shortest format can be a cruel style of the game, but Pakistan simply have to beat Zimbabwe. Their opponents have struggled for any kind of wins across formats, and I back Pakistan to get a win in the first T20.

Sadaf Shams continues to put Zimbabwe to the sword as she plunders runs for the home side. I back her to continue to star as she hits the ground running in their T20 series.

Zimbabwe Women Form

Zimbabwe Women have found cricket of any kind tough, with their last 16 matches all ending in defeat.

To their credit, Zimbabwe have played a number of matches across formats of late in an attempt to improve via time out in the middle. Since August 2025, Zimbabwe have played 24 matches. While they have won seven times, these came across their first eight, with their subsequent 16 outings all ending in defeat.

While Zimbabwe will hope a change to the shortest format may bring them renewed fortunes, Pakistan have been far too good for the travelling side, and I predict that they will slump to a defeat in their opening T20.
