Pakistan vs Bangladesh Women T20 World Cup Preview & Tips - Pakistan's World Cup woes to continue

Bangladesh Women were given a lesson in cricket by Australia in their last match as they were beaten by nine wickets. 

Bangladesh have won five of their last 10 T20's against Pakistan, with the latter winning the other five. 

Pakistan knew that they would tackle two of their toughest group games at the World Cup in their opening two, but they would have been aware that a win against one of India or South Africa was vital if they were to take an unlikely knockout spot. 

However a 64-run loss to India saw Pakistan completely outplayed in their opener, while an inability to bowl South Africa out saw the latter edge to a thrilling two-wicket win. Ultimately, Pakistan have not been good enough at this World Cup, and they are already hurtling towards an early exit. 

Their clash with Bangladesh is one they will target as a game they should win, but the odds do not allude to the awful run they arrive on. Six consecutive defeats in the shortest format along with four defeats in their last five to Bangladesh in the T20 game means I am backing against Pakistan finally getting their first win. 

Bangladesh Women had no answers for Australia's bowlers in their last T20 match as they were restricted to 77/8 in their 20 overs. With the ball, Bangladesh could only find a way to take a single wicket as the world's best team hurtled to a nine-wicket win. 

While Bangladesh will know that this was not a game they were ever likely to win, their batting collapse and inability to put the Aussies under any pressure was telling, and it will more than likely be at the back of their minds across the rest of the tournament. 

While Bangladesh were not at their best in their last match, I am backing them to have too much for Pakistan in this one. Bangladesh boast four wins in their last five T20's against Pakistan, and I predict a big performance from the former as they make it two wins in three World Cup games.
