Multan Sultans vs Hyderabad Kingsmen Preview & Tips - Can Multan Sultans keep their PSL dreams alive?

Hyderabad Kingsmen have been excellent of late, with the side finding form at the perfect time heading into the Eliminators. 

The pair have only met twice before, with MS winning once and HK winning the other meeting. 

Multan Sultans seem to have run out of steam in the PSL, with two consecutive four-wicket defeats to Hyderabad Kingsmen and Islamabad United seeing their two-game winning run brought to a grinding halt. 

Their push to the Eliminator has been built on six wins across their opening eight matches, but they have since struggled. Their last outing saw MS battle to 192/7 in their 20 overs as they trundled to what looked like a competitive score. However, Islamabad United stormed to their target with four wickets and eight deliveries to spare. In truth, MS likely needed around 210 to be seriously competitive in the match. 

While the Sultans have shown that they can battle with the top sides, their best run came earlier in the season. Since then, they have been beaten twice, with one of these defeats coming at the hands of Hyderabad Kingsmen. With their two disappointing defeats in mind, I am backing MS to slump to a season ending result. 

Hyderabad Kingsmen have been outstanding of late, with five wins across their last six seeing the side take their place in the playoffs of the PSL. 

Their last outing ended in a crushing 108-run win over Pindiz. In their clash, HK hammered their way to 244/6, with this featuring a stunning score of 70 from 37 for Glenn Maxwell. In his late salvo, Maxwell smashed eight boundaries and three maximums as he swelled HK's total. In reply, Hunain Shah took 4/22 as Pindiz were skittled for 136 in 17.1 overs. 

With HK targeting a sixth win across their last seven PSL matches, I am backing the side to stun MS as they notch a second consecutive win over their opponents.
